Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was comfortable and accommodating. The rooms were equipped with a kitchenette fully supplied and had a small fold-out dining table with 2 chairs, a coffee pot, pull-out couch, alarm clock radio, and a bathroom with an outside sink. The Murphy bed in the kitchen area was a unique touch, but the room's location across from the noisy vending machines and close to the elevators was a bit inconvenient.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and nice, with a well-appointed kitchenette. The requested queen-sized bed, desk with chair and lamp, in-room safe, and full bath were all lovely additions. The service was top-notch, going out of their way to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location, perched atop Mount Snow, offered a beautiful view and convenient access to various skiing resorts on the East Coast. The dining experience was a mix of tasty items but could use improvement in certain areas. Overall, a great value for the money with nice facilities.
I stayed in a 3-bedroom Presidential suite at Owls with amazing mountain views from a well-appointed and roomy space. However, the discovery of coffee ground-like droppings and bedbugs under the mattress and pillows was a major downside.
The hotel rooms were spacious once the bed was set up, albeit not new, but perfect for a family with a full kitchen and dining table. The service was kind and helpful. The location was easy with kids and close to winter vacations. The dining offered a variety of tasty items. The facilities were well-designed and useful.
The Grand Summit offers nice, very clean rooms albeit at the end of a massively long corridor. The king-size bed adds to the comfort of the room, but the location across from the employee service elevator may be inconvenient. Service is top-notch, particularly for parking and skis, with attentive staff ensuring a wonderful experience. The location in southern Vermont allows easy travel to surrounding towns, although at an additional cost of $300 per night with no room for negotiation in price. Dining options are sufficient for out-of-towners, with delicious marmalade being a standout. Facilities are well-maintained, emphasizing a comfortable stay.
The hotel is conveniently ski in, ski out, allowing easy access to the slopes with beautiful mountain views. The rooms come fully equipped with a kitchenette and multiple amenities, though the check-in experience was delayed until 6 PM. The service, while helpful with features like ski valet, could be more attentive due to understaffing. Dining options varied, with some closures depending on guest numbers. The facilities are adequate overall, offering necessary amenities for a ski vacation in Vermont.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, while small and outdated, have all the basics covered and some additional features like yoga and aerobics classes. The service is friendly and focused on ensuring guests have a great stay, especially beneficial for families with young children. The location is a standout, providing easy access to Mount Snow and offering beautiful surroundings. The dining experience, although simple, provides a decent variety of options, with some room for improvement. The facilities are well-equipped, but there are concerns about the limited dining space and the warmth of some food items.
I booked our stay through Mount Snow's website as a package with our Oktoberfest tickets, and our room only had a window. The hotel offers an owners lounge accessible with your room key. Unfortunately, the rooms are not soundproof at all.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were quite nice, perfect for resting after a long day of skiing on Mt. The price of $200 per night for the weekend was a great deal. The hotel room, although not extravagant, was comfortable and had a lovely terrace.
The resort offers simple, clean, and middle-of-the-road appointed rooms that are basic but very clean and comfortable, featuring full kitchens. The service was nice and provided exactly the right amount of attentive care without being intrusive. The location is highly convenient, especially for skiing enthusiasts with ski-in, ski-out access. The dining options were varied, though some dishes were inconsistent in quality. Overall, a satisfactory stay with great value for money.
